On June 1, 2017, my husband of twenty-one years suffered a heart attack and was taken from this earth much too soon!! His presence was large, and he brought so much love into our lives everyday. He was supportive, caring, smart, and really funny!! Missing him the most right now are his two beautiful children ages 10 and 17. Everyday is a struggle for them, but their father is giving them the strength to move on. My heart aches everyday over this tragic event, but I am not saying goodbye to my wonderful husband quite yet, because I know that someday we will be together again.

-Stephany has successfully pursued her Bachelor's in Social Work at California State University, San Bernardino. Her anticipated graduation date is June 17, 2017. Stephany has a one of kind personality that has enabled her to become the person she is now. She daily strives to achieve in all she does. Stephany is a strong, courageous woman that is always willing to seek help and gain strength from her support system. There is no doubt that she shows appreciation and love endlessly to those around her.
Stephany was blessed with an amazing husband. She indeed, enjoyed her 21 years next to him. Together, they raised two beautiful children. The Pomo family enjoyed every second united. Their time spent as a family was precious. The Pomo family did not make room for regrets because happiness was all they had. Their individual differences were appreciated, communications were open and mistakes were tolerated. The Pomo family's atmosphere was not an important thing, it was everything to them.
Despite obstacles that have come the Pomos' way, they have fought tough. Stephany has in fact displayed her resiliency through her many adversities. Stephany is a full-time student, a social service worker at her internship (in which she has made an impact in lives of many children and families), is employed, and is now a widowed woman, left alone with her two children. She is now held responsible with numerous other duties. She will daily continue to strive hard to raise her children. Stephany's family and friends have faith that she will fight everyday for her rights.
