Heart Attack-Phet Rassavong "Arnold"

As his first son, I’ve set up up this Gofundme in honor of My father Phet Rassavong "Arnold/Conan" Rassavong with his blessing.
My father, Phet, suffered a serious heart attack over the weekend while attending his annual Lao Boat racing event in San Diego, CA. The attack came at such a surprise, my father is the strongest, hardest working man I have ever seen. Workouts daily, plays with my son daily, organizes events for the Lao community, always involved in something.. Then boom, God presents him with the biggest obstacle yet, he initially felt some chest pain.. His immediate reaction is "I'm ok!" To his knowledge there was no way he was having a heart attack and being the person he is, he was ready to head back out on the water and start his race.. But God had other plans... He was immediately rushed to the nearest emergency room, which from there was then transferred to the best Cardiovascular Institute in CA. And has since had a stent placed in a main artery that was completely blocked with zero blood flow, this artery is named the "widow maker"of the heart. As you can imagine, with a name like that we are lucky to have him conscious and recovering. After almost two days in the Prebys Cardiovascular Institute of San Diego, My father and our family are coming to the realization the medical expenses that will be associated with being at one of the Top institutions in the Nation.
Up until now, we have all been focused on My dads recovery but, it is with the deepest concern, that we all must shift our attention to the immediate and future needs of him and his family. He is the rock of the family, but now the rock needs to be tended too, We all know family is everything to him. He would never want anyone to be concerned about him. But now we know he's human just like the rest of us.
Any amount will help. My dad had been a pillar to our family, a great citizen, great community leader and role model to many.
