Tracy's Fight Against Brain Cancer

I am trying to raise money for my sister's  medical/surgical expenses, as well as living expenses while she is off of work. She will be having brain surgery to remove a large mass from her right frontal lobe. It could cost anywhere from $50,000-$150,000 just for her neurosurgery.  She is a single mom to my 8 year old nephew. She also just started a new job in November, so she is not eligible for FMLA.  We need your help. 

On August 21, 2017 my 3 dogs woke me up around 1:00am. They were barking and growling at her door. When I entered I found her face down on her floor. I panicked and attempted to wake her. She was unconscious and unresponsive. I called 911. Her 8 year old son and I raced to meet her and the ambulance at our local Emergency Hospital. She had a total of 5 seizures in a short period of time. After doing a CT scan they found a large mass on her right frontal lobe. They then transferred her to Duke University Hospital for more scans. Again, they pinpointed a large mass. We met with a team of neurosurgeons that said they would take her case. She is home now and on anti-seizure meds and steroids to keep the swelling down. She is unable to drive or work right now due to having seizures and how drowsy the medication makes her. We are waiting for her surgery to get scheduled. She has insurance but it will not likely completely cover neurosurgery. I am asking for help towards her medical bills, doctors appointments and to help cover her regular bills. The financial goal I set is just a guesstimate and may change in time.  Please keep her in your prayers. My family and I would be grateful for any support.
