The change in seasons means falling leaves and new routines… but we’re no stranger to change this year.
COVID-19 and social justice movements have highlighted the stark inequities of how people across identities and socioeconomic statuses experience the world. The pandemic has further created an environment where the inequitable access to opportunity in the U.S. is more prominent than ever. In fact, studies have shown that marginalized communities face a higher risk of contracting COVID-19 and will be more impacted by the economic fallout of the pandemic.
With this in mind, we are committed to supporting all families and youth residing at Prospect Hill Terrace.
We are doing everything we can to provide support to the community and adapt to this rapidly changing environment. Our recent focus has been making sure our community has access to the items they need for minimal disruption to both education and wellbeing. So far, we have been able to provide resource packets for home learning, craft kits, and hygiene kits.
