Blue-green algae blooms are a cause for concern. Friends of Lake Eugenia, with the support of LEPOA, commissioned scientific research to determine the root cause of the problem.

Based on that research, we are initiating fundraising for an oxygenation project to reduce the amount of phosphorus available to blue-green algae.
