Hi friends, family, and everyone!
Phalen Lake Hmong Studies Magnet is a elementary school in Saint Paul, MN, Twin Cities. We have a total of 670 students in grades PreK-5. Our wonderful students who come every day, ready to learn.
Here at Phalen Lake Elem, our students had a school-wide contact and created our official school mascot, Zaj, the Dragon Mascot! Zaj was designed by the students, voted by the students, and now is adopted as our official school-wide mascot.
Our goal for the 2019-2020 school year is to raise a total amount of $5,360.00 and purchase each and every student a t-shirt to show their school and dragon pride!
Phalen Lake Hmong Studies Magnet is a school with 99% students of color and 82% free and reduced lunch.
We are asking if everyone can help sponsor one child by donating $8.00 per tshirt. You can choose to sponsor one student at $8, a pod of 5 students at $40, a class of 25 students at $200, or a grade of 100 students at $800!
We do offer a tax-credit letter of their donation available upon request.
