PGA of Ukraine Member Support

The PGA of Ukraine’s Members and staff, like millions of other Ukrainians, have been severely displaced by the war in Ukraine. The aim of this campaign, supported by the Ryder Cup European Development Trust [RCEDT] and the Confederation of Professional Golf [CPG], is to raise funds that can be directly provided to PGA of Ukraine Member Professionals, staff/representatives and their families to help them in their hour of need.
Leveraging the strength of the network of PGAs, PGA Professionals and the wider golf community, the funds will be used to help with relocation and accommodation, transport, medical supplies, communications, food and clothing for those who have left Ukraine and those that are still in the country.

Many Members have been drafted to fight and are unable to support their families, whilst others have had their income sources destroyed and have been forced from their homes. PGA of Ukraine Members such as Sergiy Eremenko [below, left] and Serhii Draha [below, center] are now part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces alongside others such as Ukraine Golf Federation Referee, Mykola Proskurko [below, right].

This campaign builds on the fantastic work and efforts of various PGA of Ukraine Members, and the support of Olazabal Design. This campaign continues their work with the support of the RCEDT and CPG.
Applications for support will be verified and assessed by the RCEDT and funds distributed as quickly as possible with a desire to assist with immediate needs. However the Campaign also has the longer-term goal of supporting the safe return to Ukraine and re-establishing of the country’s infrastructure and golf community as soon as it is possible.
Support efforts are not limited to financial aid, but in fact are already providing help for individuals to find safe accommodation and employment for those that have left the country and are now positioned in unfamiliar countries with requirements for work, shelter and income generation.
All involved in this campaign strongly believe in the power of the PGA and PGA Professional community, as well as the wider golf community, in coming together to support our fellow golfers in this time of need.
