In Loving Honor of Michael

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devistating news of a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend Michael. Michael Robert Baker Jr, 30, of Garrett, IN passed away unexpectedly September 9th, 2025.

Michael was a source of laughter, love, and strength for everyone who knew him. Michael loved his family and enjoying making memories with those who loved him. Michael had a smile that would light up a room, the best sense of humor, and a deep love and loyalty for his wife, family, and his many friends. His laugh was infectious and one of a kind. He enjoyed fishing, working on his car, his many tattoos, and especially loved listening to music. He had a cat, Mia Jade that he loved dearly. What he enjoyed the most was just spending all the time that he could with his loved ones. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, and uncle. Family meant everything to him.

Although Michael has passed, he was able to give the gift of life through organ donation. His huge loving heart of selflessness has given other the gift of life after his has passed.

As our family grieves this heartbreaking loss, we want to honor him with the proper farewell he deserves. Unfortunately, the costs of a funeral and burial are overwhelming, and we are reaching out for help during this difficult time.

We are humbly asking for donations to help cover funeral expenses, including the service, burial/cremation, and any other associated costs. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward ensuring that we can lay Michael to rest with dignity and love.

Michael leaves behind his wife Julia, father Michael Sr. and mom Wendy, his three sisters Jasmine, Samantha, and Vienna, his brother Josiah, his nieces, nephews, and members of his extended family and friends.
