<div>Many children in Ufodo, Enugu State, Nigeria have never had a fair chance to learn how to read, write or do simple arithmetic. This summer, we’ll be doing something about it and we need your help.

<div>From July 20 to August 30, we are launching a rural education intervention to support children in rural Ufodo with foundational literacy and numeracy skills.

<div>Teacher Training (July 20–30):
</div>
<div>We will train 100+ local teachers in the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) method which is a globally proven approach to teaching children grade level reading and math within 65 days. Once trained, these teachers will stay in the community to keep supporting learners well after the project ends.

<div>Children’s Literacy &amp; Learning Camp (August 2–30):

<div>For four weeks, we will host daily learning camps for 300+ children. These children will receive:

<div> Daily reading and math classes
</div>

<div> Nutritious meals
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> School supplies (books, pencils, learning kits)
</div>

<div> A safe and joyful learning environment
