<div>Hala's Story
</div>
<div>Hello, I'm Hala Hamouda, I turned 21 today. People have always known me as the shy girl with diverse interests. I've been drawing ever since I can remember; I love drawing, music, and filmmaking. Simply, I love everything related to art. A Disney movie was enough to immerse young me in passion and aspirations, so I never stopped drawing. I learned to play the violin, which my dear mother gifted me after excelling in high school. Then I chose the Multimedia and Web Development major and completed three years with distinction. Now, I'm in my fourth year, on track to graduate this year. My friend and I decided that our graduation project would be a unique short animated film... That's what I used to say 140 days ago.

<div>All of this was before the war. Now, I don't have the luxury to talk about art, passion, or studying, not to mention losing all my drawings, drawing tools, my dear violin, all my possessions, and my home. The occupation destroyed my university and all universities in my city. Now, we're just trying to survive without electricity or any means of communication. I spent 140 days in survival mode, away from friends, only drawing with a piece of coal my father lit after the cooking gas ran out. Creating this link wasn't an easy decision, but perhaps it will help me finish my final year of college and share my art with the outside world, and maybe even establish my own exhibition one day.

<div>Ola's Story
</div>
<div>Hello, I'm Ola Hammouda. I graduated from the English Language Education department with honors two years ago. I got my first job before receiving my university degree as a teaching assistant at one of the colleges. Shortly after, I also got another job as a proposal writer and an administrative assistant. Things were going well as I was working in two jobs in a country suffering from high unemployment rates. All my friends knew how much I loved traveling, so I was striving to get a scholarship abroad, and indeed, I was a strong candidate for one of the scholarships to work and study in America. I felt like the luckiest person in the world. Until the day my life turned upside down in a brutal war. In less than five months, I lost both of my jobs, evacuated my house, which was destroyed later on. I lost my scholarship, and to this day, I still check my email hoping for some miracle, but in vain. I always wondered how people could deal with or even accept the loss of their beloved ones until I lost 8 of my friends in the same month. I lost my boss at work and my professor at university, the two people who supported me every step of the way and used to write recommendation letters for me. I lost some of my students, I lost all my dreams. This link was my last resort after 140 days of living in despair.

<div>But amidst the rubble, there is hope. With your generosity and support, I believe that I can begin to rebuild my life, piece by piece. Your contributions will not only help me recollect and rebuild myself, but also assist my family in reconstructing our shattered home, providing a safe haven amidst the chaos.

<div>مرحبا، أنا هلا حموده واليوم أتممت عامي ال٢١، لطالما عرفني الناس كالفتاة الخجولة ذات الاهتمامات المتعددة، فأنا أرسم منذ نعومة أظافري، أحب الرسم والموسيقى وإخراج الأفلام ببساطة أحب كل ما يتعلق بالفن، فيلم ديزني واحد كان كفيلٌ أن يجعل هلا الطفلة تغرق في الشغف والطموحات، لذا لم أتوقف عن الرسم قط، وتعلمت العزف على آلة الكمان التي أهدتني إياها والدتي العزيزة بعد تفوقي في الثانوية، ثم اخترت تخصص الوسائط المتعددة وتطوير الويب وأنهيت ثلاث سنوات بامتياز وأنا الآن في عامي الرابع وسوف أتخرج هذا العام، اتفقت أنا وصديقتي على أن يكون مشروعنا للتخرج فيلم رسوم متحركة قصير ومميز.. هذا ما اعتدتُ قوله قبل 140 يوماً.

<div>هذا كله كان قبل الحرب، أما الآن فأنا لا أمتلك رفاهية التحدث عن الفن أو الشغف أو الدراسة،

<div>ناهيك عن فقدي لجميع رسوماتي وأدوات الرسم وكماني العزيز و جميع ممتلكاتي وبيتي، لقد دمر الاحتلال جامعتي وجميع الجامعات في مدينتي، أما الآن، نحن فقط نحاول البقاء على قيد الحياة دون كهرباء او اي وسيلة تواصل، أمضيت 140 يوما في وضعية النجاة بعيدة عن الأصدقاء لم أرسم سوى بفحمة أشعلها والدي بعد ما انقطع غاز الطعام.
</div>
<div>اختياري لإنشاء هذا الرابط لم يكن بالأمر السهل، لكن لعله يساعدني في إنهاء سنتي الجامعية الأخيرة وإيصال فني إلى العالم الخارجي وربما إنشاء معرضي الخاص يوما ما.

<div>سلام، أنا علا حمودة. خريجة قسم تعليم اللغة الإنجليزية منذ عامين بامتياز. حصلت على وظيفتي الأولى قبل استلامي لشهادتي الجامعية كمعيدة في إحدى الكليات. بعدها أيضا بفترة قصيرة حصلت على وظيفة أخرى ككاتبة مقترحات مشاريع ومساعد إداري. كانت أموري تسير على ما يرام فقد كنت أعمل بوظيفتين في بلد تعاني من ارتفاع نسبة البطالة. جميع أصدقائي يعرفون مدى حبي للسفر، لذا كنت أسعى أن أحصل على منحة دراسية في الخارج وبالفعل فقد كنت مرشحة قوية في إحدى المنح للعمل والدراسة في أمريكا. كنت أشعر بإني الأكثر حظا في العالم. إلى أن جاء اليوم الذي تغيرت به ملامح حياتي رأسا على عقب في حرب شعواء. في أقل من خمس أشهر خسرت وظيفتيني، نزحت من بيتي الذي دمر بعد ذلك، خسرت منحتي التي ما زلت إلى اليوم أنظر إلى بريدي الالكتروني منتظرة معجزة ما لكن دون جدوى. لطالما تساءلت كيف للشخص أن يعتاد فقدان أو غياب أحدهم إلى أن خسرت 8 من أصدقائي في نفس الشهر، خسرت مديري في العمل وأستاذي في الجامعة، الشخصان اللذان كانا يدعماني بكل خطوة ويكتبان لي رسائل التوصية، خسرت عددا من طلابي، خسرت جميع أحلامي. كان هذا الرابط هو خياري الأخير بعد عناء 140 يوما من اللاحياة.

<div>ولكن في وسط الأنقاض، هناك أمل. فدعمكم لي سيمكنني من إعادة رسم ملامح حياتي، وفي مساعدة عائلتي في إعادة بناء منزلنا المدمر، وتوفير ملاذ آمن وسط الفوضى.
</div>
<div>كما أنه سيمكنني من مواصلة تعليمي، وتكريم ذكرى أولئك الذين آمنوا بي ودعموا أحلامي.
</div>

<div>ما أغرب اليوم عن البارحة، لا رابط يجمع يومنا بأمسنا سوى بعض الصور على الهاتف وذكريات في القلب
