<div>This fire truck was brand new in 1948 and was the New Hamburg station #1 pumper when it was delivered to the station. It is a 1948 FORD F155 Bickle Seagrave and was in service until 1978 when it was sold.
</div>
<div>This firetruck has traveled to Alberta where it has been lovingly cared for and stored in a dry museum setting by a private collector. Sadly the collector has died and his family contacted us to see if we would be interested in getting it back to Wilmot Township.
</div>
<div>Our museum is a small not for profit registered charitable organization that runs on a shoe string budget. We are not part of any government and nor are we affiliated with any level of government.
</div>
<div>Our museum was started 30 years ago by a handful of retired firefighters and we are still to this day run by 100% volunteer help and our fundraising programs.
</div>
<div>A once in a lifetime chance for this fire truck to come back to Wilmot Township where it began its service.
</div>
