Petrovitch House Fire Fund

Last night Debbie and Steve Petrovitch had a house fire, which destroyed the contents of their home.  Everyone got out safe (except for her two cats) but still the family is devastated.  Debbie has been my best friend since junior year at Warwick High School.  We have been through thick and thin together and she has always been by my side.  She always comes to the rescue and when my husband Carl was in the hospital, she stayed with me day and night helping me understand the events in the hospital.  Debbie is an ICU nurse and is always there to help.  She is my daughter’s, Holly and Amanda, godmother and literally helped me raise them.  Today my heart breaks for Debbie, Steve and Cameron.  Today I had to visit Debbie at Candlewood Suites because she cannot stay in her house.  The smoke and fire destroyed all of their belongings and we are not sure how much, if anything, is salvageable.  Cameron is in high school and could not go to school this morning because he did not have clothes to wear.  Debbie is very proud and would never ask for help.  But here it is Christmas and they are going to have to buy everything, clothes, toiletries, medicines, electronics. Etc.  The house can be saved but it will take three to four months to do so and they will have to stay in a hotel that entire time.  People are calling and asking what they can do to help so we are setting up this GoFund me page so anyone that wants to help can.  I will also be reaching out to Debbie to find other ways that we can help.   Please keep Debbie and Steven in your prayers.  This is a very trying time and they will need all the prayers that they can get.  This is a terrible loss for their family and one that no-one wants to experience.
