Pete's Motorcycle Accident
Donation protected
On Tuesday, January 30th Peter Mahoney was riding his motorcycle on his way to work in Austin, TX when a vehicle in front of him suddenly slammed on the breaks and stopped short. Unable to avoid a collision, his breaks locked up and he was thrown from his bike tumbling across the asphalt. Fortunately, he was wearing his helmet and made it out alive, but his injuries are devastating and since his employer does not provide health insurance, so are his medical bills.
Pete broke both of his wrists, separated his shoulder, fractured his ankle and coated in a whole lot of road rash. His left wrist is broken in several places and currently held together with a cocktail of screws and pins, but may require a fusion. His rehabilitation can take anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks leaving him out of work for an extended period. We are so thankful to have him back, but his road to recovery will be a difficult one.
We all know Pete as one of the best dudes out. He is warm hearted, selfess and always there for his friends and family. Now he needs a little help. Without health insurance, his medical bills are towering. We hope everyone who knows what an amazing person Pete is will be kind enough to help through any donation, great or small and by helping us spread the word!
Thank you so much for your support!
