In loving memory of Peter Brandon Pop

Peter Brandon Pop was born in Sighisoara, Romania on April 14th 1971 to Viorel and Maria Pop. He was the third child out of five siblings. From early age he was brought to church and he understood the calling of God to follow him and started to share The Gospel of Jesus Christ around the villages of Sighisoara. He loved to pray and to give praises to God in any circumstance.

At the age of 17 he came to United States together with his brothers Joe and John and his sister Deborah and 10 months later his parents arrived in USA as well. Six months after his parents’ arrival, his father Viorel Pop passed away, forcing them to drop out of school and start working to support the family. On January 1st 1996 he was blessed with his son Brandon Isaac Pop. On September 17th 2003, God brought Mihaela in his life and 6 days later they got married in Sighisoara, Romania. He started a new job as CNC Specialist at Pacific Architectural Millwork on November 2004. On April 21st 2006 God blessed them with another son, Joshua Micah Pop. Because of his dedication, hard work and commitment he got promoted to Engineering Manager.

In April 2019 he started having severe abdominal pain and went to the ER for the first time. A month later he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Duodenal Cancer and started chemo shortly after. Even under the current circumstance Peter had a thankful heart and never complained. On August 21st, 2019 the results came back and he was CANCER FREE for three months.
The next scan showed few spots on his liver and the doctor decided to restart the full-chemo treatment. During this time, he continued to provide for his family, still working full-time despite of the chemotherapy treatments.
He never complained about his sickness and continued to pray and worship God as he did in the past. Like the man of God - David who did preparation before he went to be with the Lord, Peter did the same.

On February 16th, 2020 he went to be with the Lord and left behind his wife of 16 and a half years Mihaela, his sons Brandon and Joshua, his mother Maria, his sister Elena and her family, his brother John and his family, his brother Joe and his family and his youngest sister Deborah and her family.

For God’s children it’s not “Goodbye”, it’s “Until we meet again”!!!!

NOTE:
We hope that this fundraising campaign will help ease the burden the family is going through.
At the end of this fundraising, the Pop family will be added to the account and will take over the administration of the funds.  They are the sole beneficiary of the funds raised in this account.
