Peter Unterstein Funeral Expenses

Like many of you I am saddened and heartbroken by the sudden loss of my friend, Peter Unterstein.

I would love to type a few words about Peter’s friendship, musicianship and teaching and how they inspired me but words escape me.  

Peter mattered to me.  I will miss him.  I will miss him tremendously.

I am launching this gofundme to help offset cremation and memorial services as well as the immediate financial shortfall that will be felt by Peter’s children.

I have spoken with Peter’s closest family before moving forward with this and am doing so with their blessing.

If you’re reading this you know undoubtedly know what a giant presence Peter was in any situation.  I consider myself lucky to have been given the gift of friendship from his giant heart.  

We never dreamed Peter would be gone at the young age of 46 and neither did he.  This was not something he planned for in a specific way.

Together we can demonstrate to his family that he DID plan by way of surrounding himself with loving friends.  We can help in a meaningful and tangible way.  

In the manner of my dearly departed friend I ask loudly and unabashedly for you to contribute as you are able.
