Peter Michael Rudnicki Scholarship

As some of you may have heard, The Rudnicki family endured an unthinkable accident last summer that resulted in the death of their beloved son, Peter.
 
Those that knew Peter knew him for his sense of humor and his ability to bring a smile and a laugh to those around him. In addition, Peter loved sports and participated in as many as time would allow, but baseball was his passion. He played for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Clarksburg, Maryland Baseball Academy, DC Dynasty, and RBI teams before joining the St. John’s Cadets for high school. Peter threw himself into the game, and played with all his heart and soul. Whether he was behind the plate aggressively trying to throw the guy out at second or cheering very loudly from the bench, Peter loved to be in the thick of things.
 
As a member of the Booster club, he was known to ignite the crowd; dressed in his red Teletubbie costume, his boisterous cheers would bellow through stadiums. Most importantly, Peter found great joy in leading the crowd because it allowed him to flash his dazzling personality, and more importantly, it made people laugh and smile. 
 
To honor Peter, we are raising money for a D.C dynasty baseball league scholarship under the name of Peter Michael Rudnicki. The proceeds will enable underprivileged inner-city kids to play baseball who wouldn't be able to otherwise.
