Peter Evans Memorial Fund

On Tuesday, December 5, 2017 we lost Peter Evans, a beloved Gridder and friend. We at SendGrid join his friends and family in grieving the loss of an incredibly loving, kind, and intellectually curious man.  

Peter was truly fun to work with. He was famous for his wit and one liners that would catch you off guard and make you laugh out loud. His sense of humor was warm and contagious and made all around him feel included. From playing silly pranks, to challenging people with interesting puzzles, to embarking on deep and thoughtful conversations, Peter had a meaningful impact on all those he touched.

Peter cared deeply about his friends, family, and coworkers; he was a true champion for SendGrid and its culture. Our customers loved him and he was awesome at his job. He was especially passionate about giving recognition and expressing gratitude. His impact on SendGrid, the lives of Gridders, and the world around him will be felt long into the future.

Peter leaves behind his wife and best friend, Elizabeth. They loved each other deeply and shared an incredibly powerful, special bond. He also leaves loving parents and siblings and too many friends to count. While we know there is nothing that can be done to ease the pain of loss, we would like to create a venue for his fellow Gridders and friends to come together to ease the burden by providing support to his wife and family during this difficult time.
