<div>Peter passed away unexpectedly doing what he loved most—sailing his Heron dinghy. A fixture of the Port Hacking Open Sailing Club, Peter’s passion for the water was matched only by his dedication to his family. His absence leaves a profound hole in our community and, most acutely, in the lives of his wife, Rose, and their two sons, Stewart and James.

<div><strong>The Challenges Ahead:</strong>

<div>While the family navigates this sudden loss, Rose is facing an uphill battle on several fronts:

<div><strong>Caregiving &amp; Distance: </strong>Rose provides essential care for their son, James, who has Down syndrome. Their other son, Stewart, currently lives in South Korea, leaving Rose without immediate local family support.

</div>
<div><strong>Double Grief:</strong> Rose is still mourning the recent loss of both of her parents. Her home is currently filled with their belongings, a task she hasn't had the emotional or physical capacity to tackle yet.

<div><strong>Home Repairs &amp; Financial Pressure:</strong> The family home is in need of major repairs. Peter was still working full-time to fund these projects and was set to oversee the work himself. Without his income and guidance, Rose is left to manage these urgent repairs alone.
