Pete Poirier's kidney fund

I am starting dialysis treatment hopefully to get that special gift of another kidney (my brother already has donated one to me).  I have no real idea how the medical costs are going to affect my life. My kidney function is at 5% so dialysis is essential at this time to help keep me going. I have gotten great support from my family and friends so far but what lies before me I don't really know what will happen. I can say that I will persevere to the best of my ability in front of whatever challenge is put before me. I REFUSE to be depressed and choose to look at life with a positive attitude!
