We are Perth Tango Orchestra!
We were due to launch this Saturday March 21, before, you know, this global pandemic got in the way.
We have worked and loved up this project so so much and we're so excited to share it with you when the world has healed from this time!
But for now - we're asking for your help - as little or as much as you can manage.
Like many of our friends and colleagues world over, we as musicians are looking at many months of little to no income. But we are also looking into a debt created through the expenses of this project.
We are also SO proud to have brought our amazing friend and incredible Bandoneon player Heyni Solera over from the US to join us in launching our Orchestra. Her contribution has been immeasurable. This cost was to be recuperated through our concert on Saturday night. As such we're asking for your help!
We hope to raise $4500 to cover our lost venue costs and flight costs from the US for Heyni.
This is a breakdown of our current debts;
$2058 Heyni flight
$456+ Credit card ticket charges (we are yet to find out the total cost)
$250 promotion costs (photographer)
$130 promotion costs (flyers)
=$2894 TOTAL
If the fundraiser should happen to attract more financial help - we will be so grateful and this will go towards future costs of the project - including renumeration for all our wonderful and dedicated musicians!
