Hello to you all. My name is Eric, Perry's older brother. This is a story of my brother who has just recently taken away from us by a drunk driver/ hit & run. That man took the light of our family, Perry "Josh" to us, was forever a child in heart, reminding us to play.
His name was Perry Joshua Nolen Perez- Price. He was a unique, 1 of kind soul, a smart, beautiful, loving, and kind young man as we all knew. Perry was always very social both online and in a crowd, he would give you the shirt off his back, go to help anyone, at any hour.
The officer came to tell us at 4:15am and an amazing thing happened when he passed... by the time 7:15am came around everybody in our county knew. So much support and out-pour of love spread like wildfire. I have never seen anything like this before.
As you would imagine, it's like a rockstar or an actor has passed away where I'm from. 100's came, 1000s have posted, messaged, called. This young man touched so many in his life. Not a moment goes by that we don't feel love from all of you.
The passing of Perry has spread so far, through so many, spreading 'Peace, Love, 'Light.' Our kind mayor has offered our town's square for Perry's celebration of life ceremony (information to come soon, all held upby investigation.)
This man who was taken at such a young age of 33 years old, still had a lot of life to live. He was taken too early from all of us. My mother, no words to slightly relay her hearts pain.
Please, let's help our family out. Through this... our mother has not been able to function, her pain paralizing & all that know her, know her '3 boys' were her whole life-always. Matthew, him & Perry were only 10mth apart, 'the twins', is crushed. The devasatation to our family-unbearable. We have not, and can not yet, leave her side. Mom is, has been, fighting disability, at this time unable to work. Now, her future.....just uncertain. Our family has always been so close, bonded. "Us 4 against the world." Moms only goal right now, creating a 'memorial', not a good bye, but to keep his spirit of love, his 'Light' alive, spreading.
