Perret Family Support

As many of you know, Davina (Shaler) Perret’s 12 year old son was arrested in May for charges that stem out of a mixture of a complicated diagnosis: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulative Disorder, Anxiety, Depression and PTSD. After three long months of waiting for a residential facility to accept J.T., and subsequently spending those three months at a juvenile detention center receiving absolutely no therapy, he was finally accepted at a facility in Atlanta, GA. This facility specializes with adolescents who are on the Autism Spectrum and have other mental health struggles. There are only a handful of these ASD specific hospitals/facilities in the nation and the Perrets feel confident that their son will get the necessary therapy and rehabilitation while at this location, as long as insurance approves treatment. While insurance is covering all the costs of the facility, Davina and her husband are in need of financial help once insurance refuses to pay (very likely in the mental health world unfortunately ) and for travel expenses to visit J.T.
