Perkins Fam. Hurricane Relief Fund

We are heartbroken for our friend and previous co-worker, Shane and his family in Texas, as well as all those adversely affected by Hurricane Harvey and all its devastation. Shane and his family have been evacuated, the water was about six feet deep in their yard and about a foot high in their home when the rescue boat arrived last night. Unfortunately, they lost their vehicles (Shane's truck and Leslie's car) and their home is flooded. Thankfully, a rescue crew arrived quickly, they made it safely out and are taking shelter in a church. Their area (Beaumont, TX) continues to be stricken by heavy rain, over 30+ inches of rain fell last night. 

I’d like to jump in, rally our community, and help in a tangible way.  I believe that doing (and helping) is what matters. And right now, it's for the Perkins Family. I know there are thousands affected by Hurricane Harvey and the continued storms, the devastation is saddening and tugs at my heart strings. Big prayers, positive vibes and warm thoughts for Texas! 

I know we can come together in a big way to help them in light of this horrible situation. Will you join me?

Thank you in advance, donations will serve as a gift to the Perkins family.  The funds will go to replace everything they've lost (home furniture, household items, clothes, shoes, babystuff and more) due to the flooding and help them start anew.  Never underestimate the power of a simple gift. My name is Sara Hernandez from San Diego, California and this GoFundMe page has been created for the Perkins family. I worked with Shane at Mission Federal Credit Union and AllianceOne.  He along with his family have become friends of mine, they moved to Texas last year.  The funds are to help his family and replace what they've lost due to the hurricane. All contributions for the Perkins Family will be withdrawn by Shane Perkins.
