Last year I was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease due to complications from living with Type 1 diabetes for over 25 years. These chronic medical conditions have left me unable to carry my own child. It could be fatal to me and very harmful for the baby.
We have been working with Adoptions from the Heart for several months and as you can see we are in the final stages of open adoption! What you may not know is that the process is long, difficult, and expensive. The fees total around $40,000. Many family members and friends have reached out asking how they can help.
