People Who Lost Homes In Santa Rosa

A number of AnswerNet employees and their friends and families have lost their homes and all their possessions in the fires surrounding Santa Rosa.  These people need to rebuild their lives and replace everything they have accumulated in a lifetime.

We are asking for donations of things to help those families affected by the devastation and some people have asked to give money so we are setting this up as well.  Our plan is to distribute first to the AnswerNet employees and their families and any things donated in excess of what the AnswerNet employees need will be given to others who are also in need.

In order to avoid fraud Gofundme has asked us to share that AnswerNet operates two contact centers in downtown Santa Rosa.  One center provides telephone answering service and general customer service for business clients throughout Northern California and the United States and the other, which we began to occupy last week,  supports the work of the many Community Choice Aggregators including Sonoma Clean Energy.  100 percent of funds raised will go to help our employees and their families and any donations of other items will go first to the employees and their families and then to others in the community in need.

The Answernet Corporate Accounting department in Pennsylvania will coordinate the distribution of the funds to the eligible employees.  Once the campaign is completed, we will withdraw the funds to a corporate account and cut individual checks to the employees.
