update 3/31
Penny is eating small meals but still not drinking very much. She’s very groggy and sore but getting a little better everyday
My daughter's Boxer, Penny, had to have a life-saving surgery to remove an obstruction in her small intestine on Friday, 3/28. Unfortunately, her vet was out of town, and Penny had to be seen at the emergency vet clinic nearby, which incurred a much higher medical bill than her normal vet.
Heather is just getting back to work after breaking her leg in January, and this unexpected life-saving surgery has really put a strain on her financially. Penny means the world to Heather, and Penny is her baby. Penny did well during surgery to remove the obstruction but has a bit of recovery to be out of the woods.
There have been several people who reached out in ways to help, so I created this as a way to help her with the financial burden. We appreciate any help that you are able to offer for Penny’s surgery and recovery. Please share and know that we are grateful for all your prayers, shares, donations, and love for Heather and her sweet Penny.
