Help Jessa & Owen Rebuild!

On Saturday afternoon August 27th, Jessa Siefer & Owen Phillips lost their West Reading apartment to an accidental fire. After hearing the news from my best friend, Jessa I knew I needed to help out in anyway possible. Jessa and I have been best friends for 13 years. She has always been my number #1, go-to friend, "my person". All throughout those tough middle school days, beach trips in high school, to the struggles that moving off to college can bring, Jessa was ALWAYS there to love and support me. I want to repay her for all the times she made my tough times a little easier. A little background about Jessa & Owen: they met at their job at The Caron Foundation where they are both addiction counselors. Both of them went to college in the hopes of helping others who were struggling. Both of them are extremely passionate about what they do. Most of the time working 40+ hours a week. I always would joke with Jessa telling her she works too much. But she is always the first in line to take coworkers shifts or work extra hours when needed. I always admired her work ethic. After a few months of dating, they were eager to find their own place. I can remember how excited Jessa was to have her own place. Finally a space to decorate and call their own. We spent hours shopping together, looking at curtains and pillows, rugs and coffee tables. I remember having to cut Jessa off from buying any more throw pillows & bedding. But I couldn't blame her, like any new home owner it had to be just right - A new place to call home. Though no one was hurt in the fire, almost the entire apartment was ruined due to the blaze. Not only was the structure of the apartment destroyed from the flames but everything that they had worked so hard to obtain is ruined from the smoke damage. The apartment won't be restored fully for months. In the mean time they will need to find a new apartment. That means a deposit on a new place, rent for their future place, plus rent on the ruined apartment. All their clothes, linens, furniture, etc. will also need to be replaced due to smoke damage. While some items can be restored, they will be starting mostly from scratch. Though they would never ask for this themselves, everyone who knows the two of them knows that they, of all people, deserve some help. If there is anything you can donate to help them get back on their feet it would be GREATLY appreciated! I love you both!!! Jordan❤️
