Peninsula Rowing

Team Peninsula will be rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in 2021. They will be donating to ocean plastics focused charities. The team are focused on raising awareness of the importance of responsible use of plastics and are seeking funds to donate to charities that help promote and take action for this essential cause. The Charities will focus on key areas of the issue: beach, ocean and river clean ups, education about responsible use of plastic at all levels and changing government policies around the world. The damage caused to marine wildlife and fragile eco systems is becoming critical and work needs to commence now to reverse the tide on ocean pollution ASAP before the eco-systems collapse forever. Combining their endless quest for adventure with their desire to conserve the oceans and relieve them from plastic pollution has led Team Peninsula to sign up for the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge 2021.
