Our loving & beautiful girl Penelope needs your help!
She's always been so full of energy, extremely loving and loyal, and mostly crazy... and we love her so much for that!.... Anyone who has met her, knows what a great little girl she is!!
......But, This weekend she began showing signs of lethargy, droopiness, loss of appetite and generally not feeling well....(she is still drinking water though thank goodness!)
So, this caused a lot of distress for my family to see her this way, and know she is feeling so terrible.
*****After a trip to the animal hospital this afternoon, we were told that she is very sick. She was given several tests to see what was wrong with her and they have so far determined she is extremely anemic, and needs a BLOOD TRANSFUSION!!
It breaks my heart to know she's feeling this way, as she has always been so caring and has been here for us when we were feeling bad, too cuddle and kiss us, and to cheer us up...❤
Now, to learn that her transfusion(s) could run into the thousands, it makes it difficult as just her visit today was close to $500, and there will be much needed treatment that we didn't expect in the near future. Emotionslly, we can give her our all, and comfort her, and continue to love her through her sickness... but we are asking for your help, to ease the sudden impact of these much needed transfusions, along with hospital stay and medications, and the added expenses they will undoubtedly bring...
If you are able, I ask that you please give whatever amount you can. Every little bit will help her!❤
If you have animal children yourself, or have ever had them, you know how much this hurts to see them so sick....
We're just not ready to let her go yet.
