My name is Julia and I am hoping to reach out to everyone that may be able to help in this situation for my aunt and her family. For my Aunt Sandy things have not always been easy, however when she came into my uncle's life it was the start of a whole new relationship for me. Not only did we connect for so many interests, but the best one was that we both had a love for horses and she was able to help me have my dreams. Right out of high school I moved in with my aunt and uncle, shortly after purchasing my first horse and we immediately bonded. Although her and my uncle separated she will ALWAYS be my aunt. After their split she was diagnosed with breast cancer, but that did not stop her she BEAT it! Once her son was grown and out of high school she relocated to Tennessee where she then met her new love and they married!
This year things took a turn once again for my aunt and her new husband was diagnosed with bladder cancer. They accepted the diagnosis and he would begin treatments, however that was not all. As her new husband Dewayne went in for his first treatment my Aunt Sandy's son Michael suddenly fell ill. He currently was being treated for pneumonia and told that he was anemic and his iron was low after his blood work came back. While being admitted to the ER and another doctor there looking over his blood work he was completely stunned and began testing right away. After the results came back my cousin Michael only 22 years old has Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer.
Now my aunt with not one, but two of her closest family fighting the battle with this evil thing called cancer. She is not close to any family and neighbors help her when they can. He currently is waiting on medical insurance to help with medical bills and medications, but he needs his medications and right now they are totaling over $1000.00 per month! This is all on top of whatever has to come out of pocket for her husband as well.
If there is anyone in this world who deserves the help it is this woman right here! She would give you every last thing she had to know that you were happy. Every little bit helps so I am asking family, friends and anyone else out there who has room in their heart to help to please donate. This money will be used for their medical bills, medication, chemotherapy treatments and all other treatments that are needed. She needs her boys and right now they need the medical help to get through this!
