Pegi’s Cancer journey take 2

Donation protected
As many of you know last year Pegi had to have an emergency surgery due to a rupture in her intestine  causing her to become almost septic. That surgery ended up finding a large tumor on her colon.  They removed 30% of her colon and gave her an ostomy bag while her colon had time to heal.  In May she had her ostomy reversal surgery. In between surgery’s she went through 7 months of chemo and came out on top.  All her bloodwork was coming back normal and everything looked good.

For the the past couple months she has been having a lot of stomach pain.  The doctors thought that the pain was coming from all of her scar tissue from her pervious surgery’s. On Tuesday Oct 9th they went in to remove some of her scar tissue. Unfornately during surgery they found new tumors on her bowel and abdomen wall, along with some small spots on her liver that we were already watching.

She will now have to heal from this surgery and start some sort chemo moving forward. We are not sure on exact plan yet.

Although insurance covers a lot, it does not cover all. We all know how expensive medical bills are and how they can pile up.  If you feel like you can help in any way it would be much appreciated but in no way feel obligated. I just want Russell to be able to have time to take her to chemo without having to stress over missing some work.

Thank you all for your continued love and prayers.  As always they are greatly appreciated. ❤️
