Peggy's Funeral Arrangements

In January of this year my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Brain Cancer, Glioblastoma. We were told Glioblastoma is inoperable. She was given a life expectancy of 1-2yrs or less at the time of diagnosis. All of this was an absolute shock to us. In February, she had brain surgery to remove the tumor. Mom went through 6 intense weeks of radiation & chemo treatments.
To our surprise, we discovered my mom did not have life insurance. My husband and I acted quickly and found life insurance for her in April. My mom continued with PT, OT, Speech Therapy, and her scheduled check ups and treatments.
Sadly, mom has been hospitalized multiple times due to infections, blood clots, pneumonia and congestive heart failure, just to name a few. Being her main caregiver through all of this has been a lot emotionally, mentally, and physically.
We were praying continuously that God would heal her. In August she had her 2nd MRI and it showed that she was cancer free, thank God! However, due to the numerous medications, various treatments and several illnesses on top of the cancer her body has completely began to shut down.
My mom passed on Sept. 27th at 6:26pm. We found out as we have been planning for her funeral that due to her not having had her life insurance more than 2yrs they will not pay out anything on her insurance because she passed from a medical related issue.
I am asking for your help. I want to give my mom a proper burial. She has endured a hard life as a single mother. She did everything she could struggling to make ends meet to care for my older brother and myself. I wanted my mom to have a better life than this. For her only to be 67 years old just tears my heart into a million pieces. If you could PLEASE help me I would be so grateful. However you can help would be a blessing.
We are going through Medicaid to help with some of the cost of her burial, which is $1200. Everything else is out of pocket. Thank you again for those who can help, and those who can't please keep us in your prayers.
