You guys have been reaching out to me to ask how you can donate or help the Peggy Albrecht Friendly House, so I thought this would be the perfect platform!
If you don't know much about Friendly House, it is an amazing facility that provides an environment in which women can recover from the devastation of drug and alcohol addiction and progress toward healthy families and communities. They seek to achieve a stabilized recovery from addiction, renew family relationships, and help reintegrate each woman back into the community.
I feel deeply connected to Friendly House because my sister Cat was a resident in her early stages of sobriety. Seeing the comfort they gave her while she was struggling was incredible.
It is important that we help any woman that is struggling in any way that we can! Sobriety shouldn't be something people need to feel embarrassed about. They should feel proud and accomplished.
Our goal of $16,000 will sponser 2 women for an entire month at Friendly House!!! I can't wait to make this donation on your behalf, live on stage at the event on October 28th!
