Pedro Garcia's Tuition Help

I am currently a senior at Holy Cross College in Notre Dame, Indiana. I am in the last year of my journey to becoming a teacher of English learners. It is work that I feel drawn to because of my own experiences as an English learner.  However, not too long ago, I found myself having trouble paying off my tuition for the Fall semester. The good news is that I was able to find a way to pay for the Fall, but the bad news is that I have no idea how I am going to pay for the Spring semester. One problem is that I will be student teaching full time and will not be able to work the hours that I have worked throughout my college career. In addition to my tuition troubles, I have to pay for multiple exams in order to be credentialed in the state of Indiana. Since these tests are often difficult, especially for someone with my language background, I may have to take them more than once. I assure you that I am determined to succeed and work with my professors to study for each exam. Because I am not working in the final semester, I will also need to find a way to pay for my car insurance and gas. I do have some money saved up, but there are often surprises in life and I want to be prepared. Overall, I am hoping to raise $13,500, which will definitely cover my tuition for the Spring semester so that I can graduate from Holy Cross College and become a teacher. I assure your donation will also impact my future students as well. With your help, I will be able to work with students who need that extra help in acquiring proficiency in English.
