Pebble painting for Entrust

To keep ourselves occupied during Lockdown,  the children and I have painted a coronavirus mural and also pebbles and stones outside the house in a hope to brighten up people’s walks.

  Yesterday a lady asked the children if she could buy one of our painted house bricks; which gave us the idea of fundraising for Entrust. If anyone would like to take a stone or if there is anything you would like us to paint for you we can do that in exchange for a small donation to Entrust.  Here’s some information about Entrust. 

Entrust Care Partnership is a Social Enterprise, a not for profit organisation and Company Limited by Guarantee, set up to provide a range of services to support children, young people and adults with disabilities and their families.

Our Vision is:

 To meet the needs of disabled children, young persons, adults and their families and carers through the provision of short break activities, care, support, training, advice and brokerage tailoring services which are bespoke to the individual.

We offer short breaks which give families time to refresh and rest enabling them to continue 24/7 care, we run community groups with activities as diverse as art, sports, dance and drama. We run Workshops for parents and carers , offer mentoring, counselling and the opportunity to come together to find mutual support through our Coffee & Chat mornings.     

We have lost 65%  of our income due to the Covid-19 pandemic so any donation you can give will help to keep our services running in the future.   I’ve know Entrust and the wonderful people who work for them for a few years now. Anyone who knows me will know that this year I started working in our local cafe on a Thursday morning supporting a few of the young people baking( haha I know) and helping them to hopefully be able to build the skills to get a paid job in the future. Thursdays have fast become my favourite day of the week and I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with 2 of the most amazing young people who hold a very special place in my ❤️. Baking, singing Disney songs and learning the moonwalk. Entrust offer a safe place for them and so much help and support for their families.
