Pearly's First Winter and Repairs

Donation protected
Welcome to Pearly's Farmhouse Café GoFundMe Page.
I have had a dream to open my own restaurant for over 30 years. This past October my wife and I opened Pearly’s Farmhouse Café in West Cornwall where we focus on fresh ingredients, great food, great service, and our community. While we had strong business plan going in, we have been faced with unexpected repairs and expenses combined with an extraordinary slow winter season. We are currently marketing on multiple forums of social media, have had several write-ups in local and regional publications, are airing on FoxCT Perspective Show followed by a series of commercials, and have had a tremendous response to our offerings. We are also endeavoring on new media opportunities as well as a long term project to continue operating well into the future to ensure long-term success and community partnership.

At this time we do need your help and support to weather our first winter in Cornwall and perform necessary repairs in the restaurant. The money we raise will:
~repair 2 smaller refrigerator units
~ repair the walk-in refrigerator where the majority of our bulk cold storage is kept
~replace broken tiling in a small area of the kitchen
~restroom repairs
~We are also asking for help to weather our first winter in West Cornwall, with general operating expenses, as the restaurant monthly expense is approximately $7500 per month not including food and labor.   As we enter Spring, Summer and Fall this year, we will be putting aside for the next winter.

This family owned and operated business believes meals should create a comfortable space for people to gather and dine over great food and foster great conversation. Our motto from the beginning is "Eat well live well" as we share that with our community. At Pearly's our goal is to say "find a way to say yes".
Sean, the owner, is uniquely qualified as he has worked in every position in a restaurant (starting as a dishwasher) over the past 30 years and believes it is imperative that he functions as a chef and a restaurateur. He has some culinary training at Johnson and Wales and experience as a chef in the military (13 years of service). He looks forward to continuing to serve his community by serving exceptional food in an enjoyable atmosphere.
