Pearce Pregnancy Twins Ends in Loss

This Spring, 2018, Courtney found out she was pregnant with twins.  The pregnancy was difficult from the start, but seemed to stabilize until a few weeks ago.  Courtney developed HELLP Syndrome and ended up losing both of the babies.  Courtney's life was in danger and there was a period of time when there was uncertainty as to her outcome.  Courtney survived but sadly and tragically,  they lost their twin babies at 21 weeks in early August.

This pregnancy involved multiple trips to the ER, and visits to see specialists in both St George and the University of Utah Medical Center.   In addition, they have had the expenses that loss of life brings.

The medical bills have just started rolling in.  Courtney and Brady have not yet received all the medical bills and yet the total so far exceeds $50,000.  They have health insurance but unfortunately this tragedy, and the complications preceding it, happened right at the end of one fiscal year and the beginning of another.  Deductibles and out of pocket expenses are doubled, some expenses will not be covered including travel.
