A Peace Of Mind For Maryann

As some of you may know, last year our family received the heartbreaking news that Maryann Avalos was diagnosed with a low grade Adenocarcinoma. Her strong will made it through her first round of chemo, however, the cancer did not go into remission. She is currently going through her second round of chemotherapy for the highest grade of Adenocarcinoma. Because the chemo this round is extremely invasive, Maryann has had to forfeit her career as a hairstylist, which has been her personal inspiration since 1970. This career was a major life change away from her previous job working long days on a factory line. Her career as a hairstylist gave her a great amount of independence and freedom. Cancer has striped her of this privilege before she was ready to let it go and has unfortunately come with some unexpected hardships.
The reason we are writing this gofundme is because Maryann is the kind of person that does not like asking for help. Maryann is self employed and made some business decisions that lead to some outstanding debt during the stock market crash of 2007. Since that time she has worked vigorously to pay off this debt, but is now losing hope because she has had to give up her career. She does not want to burden her family, but we can all agree that she is never a burden to anyone. She is known to her community as a loving and strong woman that will help anyone who is in need. She is the kind of woman you aspire to be. She has worked hard her entire life and is the most selfless person you could ever have the privilege of meeting. We have faith that her kindness and generosity will be recognized to help her in this time of need. Right now she is fighting to save her life and we want her to focus on putting all the energy she has left into kicking her cancer's ass.
