The PeaceBoat Project revient pour la quatrième fois à l’occasion de la 51ème édition de la Course Croisière EDHEC-premier événement sportif étudiant d’Europe, dont le cœur historique est une régate de 230 bateaux. Organisé par des membres de l’association de la Course Croisière EDHEC, ce projet défend la coopération internationale en se fixant deux objectifs :
- Rassembler des étudiants, provenant de pays impliqués dans un conflit dont la résolution est aujourd’hui au point mort, sur un même bateau lors de la Course Croisière EDHEC.
- Former un équipage avec des étudiants des deux peuples et montrer au monde entier que malgré l’ampleur du conflit et leurs différences de culture et de religions, ils peuvent s’unir pour performer ensemble lors de cette compétition.
Si le premier équipage du PeaceBoat Project était un équipage israélo-palestinien, l’année dernière, grâce à vos dons, c’est un bateau ukraino-russe qui a participé à la 50ème édition. Les témoignages des membres de l’équipage et leurs nombreux remerciements confirment notre envie d’organiser un nouveau PeaceBoat Project : un troisième et historique PeaceBoat israélo-palestinien.
En perdurant depuis 70 ans, le conflit israélo-palestinien reste le conflit majeur mondial de ce 21ème siècle. Sans réelle évolution, de nombreuses générations de jeunes israéliens et palestiniens ont été affectées et ont évolué avec cette opposition. Grâce à la portée médiatique de la Course Croisière EDHEC, une véritable communication pourra être faite sur cet équipage de la paix. Grâce à vos dons, notre projet permettrait un changement de la vision générale du conflit en France et à l’international.
L’équipage israélo-palestinien est déjà très motivé : 3 étudiants israéliens et 5 étudiants palestiniens sont prêts à participer à la Course Croisière EDHEC de cette année.
La réalisation de ce crowdfunding financerait intégralement la semaine des étudiants. Cela inclurait leur transport (billets d’avion et navette Paris-Les Sables d’Olonne), leur logement sur place, leur frais d’inscription à la Course Croisière EDHEC, leur frais de visa et la location du bateau.

The PeaceBoat Project comes back for the fourth time in its history for the 51st edition of the EDHEC Sailing Cup - the leading student sporting event in Europe, whose historical heart is a regatta of 230 boats. Organized by members of the EDHEC Sailing Cup, this project defends the international cooperation by setting two objectives:
- Gathering students from countries involved in a conflict, whose resolution is now stalled on the same boat, during the EDHEC Sailing Cup.
- Training a crew with students from both nations and show the world that despite the size of the conflict and their differences in culture and religion, they can unite to perform together in this competition.
The first crew of the PeaceBoat Project was Israeli-Palestinian. Last year, thanks to your donations, it was an Ukrainian-Russian boat that took part in the 50th edition. The testimonies of the crew members and their many thanks confirm our desire to organize a new PeaceBoat Project: a third and historical Israeli-Palestinian PeaceBoat.
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict remains the major world conflict of the 21st century. It has lasted for now 70 years. Without any real evolution, many generations of young Israelis and Palestinians have been affected and have evolved with this opposition between nations. Thanks to the media coverage of the EDHEC Sailing Cup, a real communication can be made around the project. Thanks to your donations, our project would allow a change in the general vision of the conflict in France and abroad.
One Israeli-Palestinian crew is already very motivated: 3 Israeli students and 5 Palestinian students are ready to participate in the EDHEC Sailing Cup.
