Community Structure at Peace Temple

Dear friends!

This campaign is being created to raise funds for the creation of the awesome new community structure at Peace Temple.  This structure is going to be built for the benefit of the Peace Temple community during the large gatherings as well as smaller retreats.

This structure will be a cornerstone of the new Village Area behind the Pond, will be circular in shape and will have two stories. The first storie will be an open space supported by vetical logs, and will provide shelter from the rain and serve as a local kitchen area. Second storie will be a studio space capable of holding up to a hundred people to serve as a room for ceremonies, meetings, kirtan, dancing and more.  

Over the last two years I have been preparing the part of the land where the structure is going to be built by redirectig some of the water, clearing the debries and landscaping. The area is almost ready and the construction is planned to begin in the Fall.  The structure is planned to be ready for next season.

Having the financial support of the community for this project will not only make it easier to bring the Peace Temple Community structure to reality, but also will make it truly communal, as the structure will be infused with the energy of each one of the participants of this campaign.

The funds collected will go towards foundation, materials for columns, flooring, roofing, windows, and labor to get everything built.  Amount of contribution can be anything - even a small donation counts!
