Ben and Krissie need your help!!
On Thursday the 14th of September, Ben was seriously hurt in a workplace accident, suffering critical injuries that have put his life on the line. He is now in an induced coma with serious head injuries including multiple bleeds on the brain, along with severe bruising extending to almost all of his brain. Due to the rate his brain is swelling the doctors have had to operate to remove part of his skull, which will give him the best possible chance of survival with the injuries he has sustained. He also has many other facial injuries, which include two fractured eye sockets, broken cheekbones and a broken nose. The extent of permanent damage is not yet known as it is too early to tell, each hour is a blessing at this stage. Ben is fighting with all his strength to survive and come back to his loving family who are all missing their Daddy, Husband, Son, Son in-law, Brother and Brother in-law.
The McAdam family are like any other Aussie family, working hard to support their four young children. Ben is a typical Aussie bloke who loves his footy and to have a laugh with friends. He works incredibly hard to support his family so his children can have the best possible life he can provide for them. Krissie is a beautiful lady who will do anything for her family and works just as hard as Ben! They have created a beautiful family full of love, happiness and togetherness, but like most of us normal life is not easy financially at the best of times. Now with the serious injuries Ben has received and Krissie by her husband’s bedside night and day praying for him to recover, they are unable to work. This means their income is limited, causing Krissie to also face the worry of the extra costs of that arise when a critical emergency happens, such as food, travelling to hospital each day and paying for parking! There is also the normal everyday bills that don’t stop when a serious crisis hits your family.
We are asking for your help to please give this amazing family some peace of mind during this extremely difficult time and so that money does not have to be at the forefront of their minds. With a little help from you, Krissie can concentrate on the most important thing her family is facing, bringing Ben back to them.
