We are a Carmarthenshire community-based initiative raising funds that directly support the humanitarian relief effort in Gaza through music concerts in Llangadog and the surrounding areas. Mansoor has worked in international development and in conflict and humanitarian contexts around the world for over 20 years and has been supporting Palestinian communities across both the West Bank and Gaza. Kate works with children and families in Carmarthenshire. We teamed up with local musicians Dorothy, Rakhi, Davinder and Simmy Singh to establish Music for Peace. Our aim is to organise a series of concerts and events to raise money for organisations that operate on the ground in Gaza and other critical humanitarian contexts providing life-saving humanitarian relief. Where possible, we work and donate directly to organisations working on the ground delivering life-saving food, water, medicines and other critical humanitarian supplies.
