Dear Generous Donors,
Here is the story of Mahi , our 16 year old daughter. She is a bright student with artistic flair ,who loves to travel, sketch, play mesmerizing piano and drums. She has a long beautiful life awaiting her, if only we can make this possible! If only the curse of EB( Epidermolysis Bullosa) can be lifted that is. We have tried our best as parents to give our angel Mahi a balanced life. She has had a Trach since 15 years for breathing. So, here we are after spending more than 160k dollars on 65 surgeries in the past 16 years , and once in a lifetime opportunity to be seen by doctors in London, who want to take Mahi in for a clinical research and see if there is any new door they can open for Mahi and many like her.
We are looking up to generous donors like you to help fund this hospital visit for Mahi, so we can afford to be part of this experiment. Mainly to make way for many who have a trach like Mahi due to EB. We need this funded by end of October if we are to make it to this surgery. The clinical research will be held in the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London,
Please note, all donations will be solely used for the hospital stay and the doctor's expenses. We will take care of the travel expenses on our own.
