Local-Motions Nonprofit Organization in partnership with Culinary Aspects Inc. and Rock of Our Salvation presents:
Home for the holidays.
A Thanksgiving Day Celebration.
Our event will be providing more than a meal, we would like to provide an experience to homeless communities, veterans, the disabled communities, as well as the elderly and less fortunate. This event will be a space where men, women, and children who may not be with their families for the holiday season can come relax and enjoy a judgement free zone where all are welcome!! This will be a space to gather and fellowship that is warm and inviting with a wonderful ambiance, a place to experience a taste of being Home for The Holidays. We want our guests to feel valued, invited and loved. We want everyone to walk away feeling "full” physically, mentally and emotionally.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 and get as many volunteers as possible to help make this happen.
Your donations will go towards:
- feeding 200 - 400 guest
-Care kits for the guests
-Take home meals
-Entertainment
-Family board game area
*We will provide transportation to and from the event for those that don't have reliable transportation.
*We will deliver catered meals to the shut-in complete with table settings and decor and so much more.
