<div>This is my second life. When the earthquake struck Cebu, Philippines, I was on the 17th floor of a building. In that moment, I truly thought it was the end. The trauma of being there during the event will stay with me forever—I saw fear, chaos, and loss all around. Many people lost their lives, countless families lost their homes, and the devastation changed the community overnight.
