Paynesville's Floating Tin Shed entertainment

My name is Bernie Ryan and my wife Ruth and I built and own Paynesville’s Floating Tin Shed.
The Tin Shed has become an important part of the Paynesville community and a tourist attraction for visitors. You will see and hear us cruising the waterways of Paynesville, Raymond Island, the canals and Newlands Arm with live music playing for the free enjoyment of locals and visitors alike. Our number one objective is to put smiles on people’s faces & to spread happiness!
We are raising money to reimburse musicians and bands who perform on The Floating Tin Shed and to ensure that we can entertain more regularly.
By providing uplifting, toe-tapping, feel good music we aim to bring enjoyment to the community and create an atmosphere like no other. We do this all year round, school holidays and during special events playing all genres of music.
Currently, the musicians are funded by donations from local small businesses who's resources are already stretched following the recent bushfires and the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic. We would love to move towards crowdfunding for this unique entertainment experience so that we can continue to entertain Paynesville and her visitors for many seasons to come.
All money raised on this platform will go directly to the musicians who play on The Floating Tin Shed. Due to bushfires and the COVID-19 pandemic, East Gippsland has had little to no live entertainment for over twelve months. Formerly a hub for visiting musicians and local artists, restrictions on live events have meant that annual events such as the Paynesville music festival have been postponed. The Floating Tin Shed will also provide employment for artists whose income has been heavily impacted throughout the year.
