Paying Tribute to Tommy

Tommy O'Neill was a rising senior at Virginia Tech  Industrial Systems Engineering.  While driving home to his family in Albany, NY after finishing up his spring semester, he was involved in an accident on I-81 in Pennsylvania. A tractor trailer crossed over the median into oncoming traffic and hit Tommy's vehicle, taking his life. 

Tommy was no ordinary 20 year old. He carried a certain aura that made others stop and listen, a certain presence that could never be matched. Tommy taught others what it meant to be loved, what it meant to be yourself, and what it meant to disregard what others thought. He was a source of knowledge, comfort, and laughter for all in need, no matter the time or place. Tommy was able to show people what it meant to truly dedicate yourself to others, be there for one another, and to never give up. 

Tommy impacted more people than one could imagine. For this, we are thankful and wish to do whatever we can to show how much it all meant for us.
