Paying tribute to Margie
Donation protected
On Thanksgiving morning about 6 am, a morning when most families are getting up early and start prepping and cooking a Thanksgiving feast, my sister, Margie Gordon, suffered cardiac arrest.
I can only imagine the terrifying feeling of starting the day with the panic Cevin, her husband, and Khloe who is 9 years old, must of felt.
Margie was life flighted to St. Vincent's hospital in Billings Mt. where she remained under sedation until Dec. 2.
Margie had battled with diabetes since she was a young teen. She was having difficulty with her vision in the last few years which hindered her to have a full time job, so she was a stay at home mom.
Cevin and Margie were together for 34 years.
For that time Cevin's role was like so many other dads roles he was the one who worked and made the money, leaving the wife to take care of the mundane tasks of paying the bills and what ever other paperwork that was involved in every day life, which in itself is a full time job. She was also raising a child at the same time.
So now Cevin faces the task of taking on Margie's jobs on top of working full time.
Raising kids in itself, as anyone with kids knows, is a full time job.
Cevin is going to need all the moral support he can get, but financially any support we can give him to help him get back on top of things would greatly be appreciated. Thank you for your consideration.
