Paying Tribute to Keith Retuyan and Family

Hi, my name is Armie Clayson.

I am asking for donations for my niece Kayla, after a devastating tragedy. Her husband, Keith Retuyan caught pneumonia and had a cardiac arrest in the Tucson VA hospital on December 24, 2022. He sustained a global anoxic brain injury and has been placed in a medically induced coma. Unfortunately, he cannot live without life support and will be taken off of it in accordance with his will.

Keith is a wonderful son, a loving husband and dad, and an animal lover. He is a brother and a friend to many. He loved and honored his country by serving in the Air Force for nine years as a military police K-9 handler until he was medically retired due to IgA nephropathy (Berger’s disease). He is waiting for a kidney donor and is on dialysis but he never let his medical difficulties prevent him from living life to the fullest.

His life’s greatest joys are his five-year-old daughter, Bell and his wife, Kayla. All proceeds pay for significant medical expenses he accrued that the VA did not cover, funeral costs, and help support his young family. Any amount would help and is greatly appreciated. Please keep them in your prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.

The holidays bring many of us together with our families. Please take your time to hug each other closer, say positive things you may otherwise keep to yourself, and enjoy every minute you have with them.
