Paying Tribute to Donato Parkerson

Hi, my name is Ashley Klinger and I am fundraising to help support my sisters family after losing my dear brother-in-law, Donato Parkerson to COVID-19 on September 24th, 2021.

Donato was the sole provider for my sister, Kimberly, and their four kids, Donato Grant (7), and triplets, Athena, Vivian, and Josephine (5). I am making this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the costs associated with his passing and to hopefully cover some bills while my sister tirelessly searches for a job. Every dollar counts, every prayer, and every meal means the world to all of us.

My best friend, protector and husband was called home to Jesus yesterday. I’m at a loss for words meaningful enough to possibly begin to describe just how incredible he is. Donato leaves 4 beautiful children that were born of his flesh and have the honor of being part of his forever legacy. He was the single most amazing person I will ever know. He made a lasting imprint on everyone he ever met. I’m blessed to have shared more than half of my life with him as HIS best friend, protector and wife.

As much as this is a excruciatingly deep loss for our family, it is for his friends as well. He has meaningful, unique relationships with every single friendship (and there are many!). He had a way of bonding with people that I’ve never seen another person do.

He is truly a man of stand up character. He has an amazing work ethic that earned him a reputation as dependable and trustworthy; everyone knows they can count on him. He was very proud of that and I’m very proud of him.

Thank you for honoring me with the opportunity to be your partner in this life. I’m so sorry we were cheated out of the rest. I will forever love you.
